All this, because she was carrying jewelry and expensive watches that have been estimated to be worth more than 20 lakhs!The actress received the best actress award for Band Baaja Bharaat at the IIFA awards held at Toronto. But her luck turned soar after that, and she had to go through this ordeal which is still not over. IT officials have now stepped into the picture and they also have questions for her about her earnings and tax returns.
Anushka's representatives have claimed that the jewelry and watches were given to her by brands she endorses and she had declared them while leaving from India. The pretty and talented actress seems to be having a rough time of it currently.
