Irked with continuous messages from people about her striptease stint, the lasso switched off her cell phone, as revealed by NDTV.
Surprisingly, she tweeted after India winning the World Cup on the micro-blogging site Twitter but didn't tweet about her plans to go nude.

FIR launched against Poonam Pandey
Reportedly, earlier, an FIR was launched against the model Poonam Pandey to stop her from shedding all her inhibitions, if India won the cup.
Objections were raised against Poonam as people alleged that going dare-bare will malign the Indian culture and its traditions.
Interestingly, she reverted to the allegations by saying that she was doing this for the country and her love for cricket.
“I'm a cricket fanatic and I'm a die-hard supporter of my nation. India needs a lot of support and this is my way of supporting the team,” said Poonam.
