This is the year of item songs in Bollywood. Buzz is that the latest sensation is going to be Mallika Sherawat's sexy and steamy number titled 'Jalebi Bai' from Indra Kumar's 'Double Dhamaal'. Sources say the song is likely to be more erotic than 'Munni' and choreographer Ganesh Acharya is promising an awesome performance. The actress has put it simply as 'Wait and Watch'. We will be anxiously doing just that and are sure that Malaika, Deepika, Katrina and Lisa are doing the same. May the best woman win?
The battle to steal the show with Item numbers is getting more intense. Abhishek Bachchan is the latest entrant in what had been a catfight among ladies. They include Katrina Kaif, Malaika Arora Khan, Mallika Sherwat and Deepika Padukone. Sad though for Deepika Padukone is that Abhishek's item number is in the same film 'Dum Maaro Dum' as hers. An inside source says that composer Pritam and song writer Jaideep Singh were promptly roped in to make the prefect song for the hunky star. Its title is 'Thayn Thayn' and it has a funky groove. Abhishek's incredible performance in the song will definitely put Deepika in danger of losing the limelight.
