George Clooney‘s ex-girlfriend is “very down in the dumps” following her split from the actor.
Elisabetta Canalis, 32, and Clooney who had dated for over two years recently announced they had gone their separate ways.
And according to Canalis’ mom, Bruna, the Italian TV star isn’t coping too well.
“I’ve spoken to her, and she is very sad, but these things happen,” she said.
“George is a nice guy, good fun. We had a good time, but there was a lot of attention and we are not used to it.”
Elisabetta’s dad admits he’s disappointed that Clooney won’t be joining the family.
“He certainly would have made a good son-in-law, but it’s my daughter who has to decide,” he said.
