P. Diddy puts NJ mansion up for sale for $13.5M

P. Diddy has put his house on the market for $13.5 million.
The millionaire music mogul bought the sprawling mansion located in Bergen County, Alpine, New Jersey from entrepreneur-and-financier Mark Arzoomanian, in 2004 for a reported $10 million and is now hoping to make a $3.5 million profit when he sells it on.
The house is described as a center hall colonial set over three acres. The 26-room home contains 17,000 square feet of living space with seven bedrooms (including three master suites), nine full and one half bathrooms and a home theater.
Although he is not known for his sporting prowess, the Dirty Diddy Money musician’s home also features a pool with a waterfall, tennis courts, an indoor squash court and a gymnasium.
A six-car attached garage with living quarters above is likely to be where the 41-year-old rapper who has six children housed the $500,000 Maybach limousine he bought his 16-year-old son Justin after the teenager became an Honours student earlier this year.
“Justin has turned himself around and is now an Honours student, which he wasn’t before, so I wanted to treat him,” he said. ‘It’s a collector’s car so maybe he will use it for special occasions like on a first date, but like all my kids, he prefers the simpler things than the expensive things. Simple tastes.”
