Miranda Kerr 'I thought I'd die during childbirth'
Miranda Kerr has revealed that she feared for her life during childbirth.
The Australian supermodel, who gave birth to son Flynn in January this year, said that the pain was so "intense" during her 27-hour labour that it felt like an out of body experience.
Kerr told the Australian edition of InStyle magazine: "I actually thought I was going to die at one point and left my body. I was looking down on myself - the pain was so intense. I kept thinking, 'how do women do this? But if other women have done this, I can do it too.' I was determined."
She also revealed that she loves spending time with her son, saying: "We spent every minute together, morning and night, for those weeks before I went back to work. He sleeps in our bed every night."
Kerr is married to Pirates of the Caribbean actor Orlando Bloom. They wed in a secret ceremonylast July before she gave birth to Flynn.
She recently revealed that her secret to looking good is her "organic life", adding: "I personally take four tablespoons of coconut oil per day, either on my salads, in my cooking or in my cups of green tea. I will not go a day without coconut oil."
Kerr has been an advocate for breastfeeding since becoming a mother, describing it as the most "natural" and "precious" thing in the world.
