P Diddy sued over shooting at his Atlanta restaurant
P Diddy is being sued by a man who was shot several times outside the rapper's Atlanta restaurant Justin's.
The lawsuit stems from a September 2010 incident where former Def Jam executive Tony Austin and an associate sustained multiple wounds while they were sitting in Justin's parking lot.
Austin's legal team say that Diddy and Justin's other owners provided an unsafe environment for customers by failing to protect them against the restaurant's "dangerous and hazardous conditions", The AP reports.
Diddy founded Justin's, which is named after his eldest son, in New York City in 1997 and followed with an Atlanta franchise one year later.
Lawyers for Diddy haven't yet responded to the legal filing.
The hip-hop star recently announced that he plans to take an extended break from performing in order to focus on producing music for other artists.
