Elijah Wood insists he’s nice!
The actor who is best known for his high-profile role as Frodo Baggins in Peter Jackson’s highly-acclaimed fantasy trilogy Lord of the Rings hates that people assume he’s going to be a “f**king d*ck!”
“You know what’s amazing? And this has happened my entire life, especially after Rings: I meet people and I work with them and they say ‘God, you’re so nice and personable and approachable’ as if it’s a big surprise. But it’s like, ‘What do you expect me to be?” said Wood.
“Just because I’ve been lucky enough to have a certain amount of success and be recognisable, that doesn’t make me any better or different.
“I’m just being a person – the only way I can conceive of being is cool to people. I don’t wanna be a f**king d*ck!”
Elijah then revealed he likes watching TV.
“Some of my favorite viewing of late has been television shows,” he admitted.
“Mad Men, Breaking Bad, True Blood. All of these incredible actors have come to the medium look at Boardwalk Empire and I started to become very intrigued by television, but the idea of doing something of a high quality standard with the ability to expand a character over a certain amount of time.”
