Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will enjoy an intimate trip to San Diego this weekend along with their army of bodyguards.
The superstar couple are due to appear at San Diego Comic Con to promote the first part of the final Twilight movie which is due to hit screens later this year.
“Rob and Kristen must have something like 20 bodyguards,” says an event insider.
“They expect mass-hysteria wherever they go but Comic Con is the centre for fanboys and girls. They risk being swamped by fans but special measures are being put in place.”
Recent reports claimed Rob and Kristen have been arguing over the hunky actor’s partying ways.
“Rob’s been partying hard,” said an insider.
“He’s been out almost every night at concerts and dinners with pals and this is hot on the heels of him going out clubbing with Sienna Miller in London a few weeks ago.
“Kristen’s upset about his partying and ended up having a tearful showdown with him over the phone, saying he’s acting as if he finds life boring with her.
“She’s feeling insecure because she’s back home looking after their dog Bear and hasn’t seen him for weeks.
“But Rob thinks she’s blowing it all out of proportion.”
