Jewel is a mommy!
The crooner and her husband, professional bull rider Ty Murray, welcomed a son, Kase Townes Murray, on Monday evening, July 11 in Texas, People magazine reports.
The baby who the couple have called Kase arrived at 7 p.m. CST and weighed in at 7 lbs., 6 oz.
“Ty and I are so pleased to welcome our new baby boy into the world,” Jewel said in a statement.
“We are overcome with happiness it really is as great as everyone told us it would be better even!”
Jewel and Murray co-founder of the Professional Bull Riders, nine-time world champion and a color commentator for Built Ford Tough Series broadcasts wed in a beach ceremony in the Bahamas in 2008.
